Step 1  Submit Your File

Contact us to initiate an engagement. You will receive a secure intake questionnaire and instructions for transmitting your client's billing records, retainer agreement, and any relevant correspondence. All materials are handled under strict zero-data-retention protocols: your files are analyzed and then permanently deleted upon delivery of your report.

Step 2  We Analyze

Our team applies the Cohen v. Kealey & Blaney nine-factor analytical framework to the billing records. We examine the time dockets, stated hourly rates, task descriptions, complexity indicators, and retainer terms. We cross-reference entries against benchmark rate ranges for comparable Ontario legal work and identify patterns in the billing record that may be relevant to the assessment proceeding. No legal conclusions are drawn  our analysis is observational and documentary.

Step 3  You Receive Your Report

Your written forensic analytics report is delivered within the timeline corresponding to your selected service tier: 4872 hours (Standard), 57 business days (Extended), 1014 business days (Comprehensive). The report is structured for use in Ontario Solicitors Act fee assessment proceedings and includes a billing record summary, rate benchmark analysis, docket pattern observations, and a Cohen factor matrix. All findings use neutral, non-legal language consistent with UPL compliance requirements.
